Welcome to U.P. College

Uma Pandey College, Pusa, Samastipur was established in the year 1971, it is a constituent unit of Lalit Naryana Mithila University, Darbhanga. The College situated in rural area of the Samastipur district and registered under section 2(f) and 12 (B) of UGC Act., 1956 and have more than five Thousand students on roll, imparting education in all the two faculties (Science and arts) up to UG Honours level to the students belonging to economically and socially backward communities.

The teachers of the college are dedicated and sincere to their Job and this can be judged by the performance of our students in several Examinations. The college has a N.S.S unit students may join it for the service to nation we have may achievements under its banner.

Government sanctioned scholarships are available to become responsible and cosmopolitan citizens. Building relationships, developing integrity and accountability, creating a sense of respect, Service and fellow feeling and inculcating the rich cultural ethos of India – all are our constant efforts towards the building of the nation and a safe society. We are constantly trying to create a modern, peaceful, progress oriented and knowledge based society with an emphasis upon research, innovation, production and not a sheer consumerist behavior. We are constantly trying to create a great sense of understanding among our students with regard to India’s plurality of religion and composite culture.
